Wednesday Walk ~ Age is a State of Mind

Happy Wednesday Friends!

For today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I am happy to connect with you on my birthday! As another year goes by I am more and more grateful for the incredible gift of being able to celebrate my 39th trip around the sun. While there are some people who truly don’t enjoy aging, I am of the firm belief that age is nothing but a state of mind. The way that you see your age, as well as your accomplishments up until this point in your life, are all a matter of perspective. Check out my Wednesday Walk to hear why I believe that age is just a state of mind.

I would love to hear from you. Have you had a time when you experienced pressure to be at a certain place in your life because of your age? Were you able to disconnect from that idea and remember that age is a state of mind? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

All love,

PS ~ Today is my last day of fundraising for my work with theย Africa Yoga Project. As a birthday wish, I ask that you please read more about my love project to bring yoga to children & teachers inย  the slums of Nairobi and if you feel inspired to make a contribution, you can do so byย clicking here!

There is a yogic saying, “If you didn’t know how old you are, how old would you be?” Happy Birthday dear one….

I was 39 when I met Hal. He was 44. We married when I was 40 and he was 45. He had never been married, me once before for three years. No kids for either of us previously. I became pregnant after only 3 months of trying at the age of 41 and Haley was born when I was 42! This is a great time in your life!!! Happy Birthday! Love, Hilary (PS – Haley is now 10 1/2 and our lives are AMAZING!!!!! There is a reason the universe had us wait for the gifts!)

    Dear Lovely Jodi ๐Ÿ™‚
If you are not “aging” this means you are not living… What is so good about being death? ๐Ÿ™‚
And I know that you are living in every way… Welcome to your new age, age of wisdom, age of freedom…

    With all my love,

Happy late birthday, today is mine and I am 51 and I don’t feel old at all. Today was the day when I made the decision this morning to bring Yoga for kids to this small town of ours after being inspired by you being a guest on Davidji several months ago and after a year of volunteering at the local school, I have written it down almost daily in my journal that I want to create Yoga for kids in this town. I have no idea yet how but I am sure the universe will help me. Thank you so much!!
