Wednesday Walk ~ Ignite Your Passion

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I am feeling energized and inspired! While I have been blessed with the gift of sharing yoga with kids and teaching adults how to connect, lately I have felt the need to shake things up a bit, to do something new to reignite my purpose in life. For me this has meant an expansion in my business and creating a new brand. There are so many ways to reignite our passion and areas of our life ~ it could be taking a new class, creating something new or choosing to interact differently in our relationships. Check out my ‘Wednesday Walk’ video to hear more about the importance of staying inspired and how we can re-energize ourselves by taking a new approach to things that may have become habitual in our lives.

I would love to hear from you! What in your life needs reigniting? What are you doing to inspire passion in your life? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

All love,

jodi

I just have to say that after a difficult period in my life I finally, after years and years and years of having the vision, have a regular yoga practice. It was that difficult period that lead me to this wonderful part of my life, and then ultimately lead me to your teacher training which has really been a life altering experience! I was really feeling like I had no purpose late last year, my son is growing up and doesn’t need me like he used to, my older step children are all on their own and have their own lives, my husband and I had been sort of moving along in parallel lives (thankfully we are now back on track as a couple) … things were just status quo and seemed to be moving downward. And, then I started a daily yoga practice, started attending mass 3-4x/week, began getting regular acupuncture, and started seeing a holistic counselor. It wasn’t immediate, but within just a few short months I was on track to a better existence than I’ve known in a long time! And, I have yoga, and Next Generation Yoga, to thank for this 🙂 Thank you so much, Jodi – this Wednesday Walk really hit home with me!

    Hi Jody,
Thank you for taking the time to make a video a week. I know it is a comitment. You know I know what you mean with regards to sharing a passion for children to those around you, especially parents and teachers. If I can ever be of help here in NYC to spread the word about your work, let me know. Yoga and Art are very compatible:) If you have a good business coach connection in NYC- let me know! I have new directions I am excited about taking, and would welcome and appreciate the support. I just don’t know where to begin to find one for my niche.
    Thank you!!!

Hey Jodi! Thanks for sharing your inspiration:) I am also reinvigorating my business and creating an online course to teach yoga teachers & mental health practitioners about how to incorporate yoga into trauma treatment & recovery. I’d love to hear how your business coach helps, and maybe get their name! So glad you’re continuing to find the best way to share your love, light & experience. Namaste, sister!

It’s great to see energy and inspiration when it comes to growing a business that leads children to growing through yoga. Thank you for putting your passion to work for bussinesses who share your passion! Omazing Kids pointed me in your direction. I’m currently on fire for our kids’ musical yoga program called Sing Song Yoga having recently launched our app that makes daily yoga an easy reach for families and classrooms by customizing the entire experience. I look forward to getting to know you and together leading more kids to yoga and joy!
