Jocelyn Chrisley, RYT
NGY Team Support + NGY Teacher
Jocelyn Chrisley RYT began practicing yoga during her first pregnancy, and since then yoga has remained a centering source of joy for her. Both her daughters, one now a teen and the other a tween, were natural-born yogis, and seeing their love for asana and ease in mindful practices encouraged Jocelyn to learn more about kids yoga.
After leading the yoga club at her children’s school for several years, Jocelyn found her way to Next Generation Yoga (NGY). Training with NGY reinforced Jocelyn’s ideas about how valuable yoga can be for kids. An MSW, Jocelyn believes in strength-based support of children and thinks yoga is a meaningful way to learn about the self, feel empowered through physical experience, and explore the world through imaginative play.
Off the mat, her interests include late-night reading, spending time in nature, and social justice. Jocelyn lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband Brett, daughters Sutton and Norah, and a vast menagerie of rescue animals.
