Wednesday Walk ~ Maintaining Balance

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I connect with you from Mazatlan, Mexico, where I just led a Next Generation Yoga Teacher Training. I travel a lot, and I have found that in order to stay centered, I need to stay true to my practice while I’m away from home. This includes eating the foods that make me feel good, getting enough sleep, and maintaining my yoga and meditation practice. The same holds true when I’m hosting guests who visit me ~ it can be easy to put our needs aside when there’s any change in our routine. Check out my ‘Wednesday Walk’ for inspiration on staying whole and centered in the midst of traveling or hosting visitors.

I would love to hear from you. What are some of the things you do and need while traveling in order to maintain your center? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!

All love,

    Freedom is balance
I pray the beautiful rosary daily
I find grace in its wisdom

Hi Jodi, my daily (RPM) meditation practice is what I need each day to keep me balanced. In addition, I like getting out–going to the park with my dog Shanti, and having a glass of good quality wine at dinner time, along with delicious, healthy food. I think balance comes from within–and you call the shots on keeping your peace, through your own self-awareness.
