On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’ I share about a personal experience I recently had where I listened to the signals my body was giving me to make a decision to benefit my highest self. A few weeks ago, I made plans to go camping with a friend in Sequoia National Park. I’m not much of an experienced camper but I was SO EXCITED for this trip & had trust in my friend to be my guide. But once he started sharing details about the trip with me ~ hiking over 40 miles in 3 1/2 days, through snow, carrying heavy packs, etc … I started to actually feel in my body like going on this trip was not best for me. Don’t get me wrong, I am an adventurous spirit and love the great outdoors, but I wasn’t feeling in shape for that kind of trekking experience. So, despite really wanting to go and experiencing the magic of the woods, I honored what my body was telling me and chose to take care of myself. Instead, I will be unplugging at Harbin Hot Springs. Check out my ‘Wednesday Walk’ video for more insight on how to tune in to the physical signals your body is giving you to make decisions that support your highest truth.
I would love to hear from you. When in your life have you had a decision to make where you knew in your body that you want to do something, but you did it anyway? Or when did you notice & honor your body’s signals to make a new choice? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!
