Happy Wednesday and Merry Christmas Friends!
On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’ I share about giving the gift of self love. I have recently consciously committed to reclaiming self love. Self love can take many forms, from a committed meditation practice to getting a massage, to watching your thoughts, or doing whatever else helps you align with your highest, best self. This means being aware of when we’re loving ourself, and when we’re not. Check out my ‘Wednesday Walk’ for inspiration on how the practice of self love helps everything around us fall into place ~ from our personal relationships to our business and everything else that matters to us.
I would love to hear from you. How are you giving yourself the gift of self love this holiday season? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!
All love,
jodi
I find Grace and lightness and Joy in praying the Rosary everyday. Swimming as I pray I am thankful
Giving myself freedom with my son to follow his ideas leads to special spontaneity! Allowing myself pleasures and treasures only a full life can bring!
beautiful as always paula!
Lovely reminder Thanks Jodi. I am writing to ask ifyou would consider giving credit to the artist/musicians that close your Wednesday walk/talks. You have a beautiful selection, always appropriate to your theme. It would be great for your community to honor them by purchasing songs on iTunes.
Merry Christmas to you wherever you are today.
thank you valerie! i will most certainly consider doing so!
hope you are well!
much LOVE!
Hi Jodi, lovely video. You look great. The hot springs will be a wonderful time for you to relax. I am giving my self love when I go to Yoga every week and even when I allow myself time to go to Seattle University for Christmas Mass. It is very special with lovely music, plus making sure I take Shanti for a walk in the downtown park. And I must say, a little French Champagne always makes me feel toasty and warm on Christmas.
Big hugs, Jap-Ji
mmmmm french champagne, shanti walks & walks in the downtown park ~ let’s make everyday a holiday!
Thank you Jodi for some wonderfully wise words. Daily meditation, yoga practice, attending mass (midweek and Sundays), minding my self talk, and really following my intuition are all things I do to take care of myself. Many blessings to you and hoping you had an incredible rejuvenating time at the hot springs!
i love the minding self talk … its the key to self love!
Lately, I have begun practicing yoga at home! Instead of feeling like I need to fit a class into my day (which is sometimes stressful – ironically!), I can practice at home, in my own time, for as long (or short :)) as I want, and do the poses which feel right in the moment. It has made my practice more personal, way more easy to achieve, and soooooo empowering. I’m actually surprised that I am just now realizing this! Glad to be alive, healthy, and with so much love in my life. Many blessings to you Jo and wishing you so much happiness and love in 2014. <3
yay for a home practice betsy! this is something i have always desired … glad you are happy, healthy & full of love ~ you shine so bright!
