Wednesday Walk ~ Find Your Purpose

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I discuss how living my life’s purpose, or ‘Dharma’, allows me to live life fully and happily. Every single person on this planet has a special gift or talent that is unique to them alone. If we are lucky, we find this gift when we are young, but sometimes many years go by before we find it ~ and that’s ok too!

I learned a wonderful exercise from Deepak Chopra that has helped me find my Dharma, and I’d love to share it with you. Deepak suggests asking yourself three specific & powerful questions at least once a week. Please watch my video blog to hear more about this technique & how it can help you find your purpose.

I would love to hear from you. What is your special gift or purpose in life? Do you have a practice that you use to discover your Dharma? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you.

P.S. There are many incredible books that can help you find your purpose. Two great books to get you started are The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra and The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson.

All love,

jodi

I love listening to you talk about dharma; For some, it’s easy to understand, but some others have a really hard time with it. It’s very interesting that this wednesday walk was about this; this past weekend, we were just talking about it and many questions came up. ¿What happens if you can feel you’ve found your dharma from your heart, but somehow it doesn’t give you financial independence or stability and you end up working or doing the kind of thing that doesn’t make you feel good about yourself? ¿How to find that balance and live in your dharma? Mmmmhhhhh, as you can see, we had a long talk trying to figure it out and then I watch your blog 🙂 I love how you let us know it’s real

thank you sandra for sharing your recent exploration of dharma. in my opinion ~ your dharma does not have to be your career or how you make your money. we can serve others with our purpose in life & still not make money doing it. think about a mother, for example 😉

love you & so appreciate your presence in my life!

It took me a few years of creating careers that I always loved doing. I followed my joy so to speak. By tuning into meditation and asking these questions you can be guided to your next step. I have created a life that is rich, full and is filling my dharma. I knew from a very young age I was to be a teacher, it just took a while to manifest as I worked out my other “lives” within the one dream drama. Thank you Jodi, for sharing your light in the world. Aum,
