Wednesday Walk ~ Say What You Mean to Say

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’ I share about an experience I had recently where I learned the importance of speaking my needs in the moment versus after the fact. If I could have any superpower in the world, it would be this ~ to know my truth in every moment and to be able to express it clearly. Check out this week’s ‘Wednesday Walk’ to hear my story about what happens when you aren’t able to speak your truth and my journey to claiming my superpower!

I would love to hear from you. Have you ever experienced not speaking your needs in the moment and realizing it later? What is the superpower you would like to have in your life? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!

All love,

jodi

I would love to always be able to let go let God
    it is so freeing!
I have learned to say what I mean and not be influenced by emotions
This has taken me awhile and to not feel guilty especially as a Mom to take down time I need and time with my husband to balance life out has made me happier ~ The secret is to listen in and ask God for guidance always before making the decisions. Simple

    Hi Jodi!
I do this A LOT! Finally at age 45 I’d like to think I say yes less. Saying yes, when I mean no…. or actually way before I even knew I meant no…. is a very common thing which relates to my need to be ‘good enough’. Subconsciously I must feel that if I say no to what people want from me then they will be disappointed or think I am ‘not good enough’. These hit my life-wound buttons.
Now I recognize that I need boundaries for myself and that of course I’m good enough! People are often disappointed in us if we are not meeting their needs….. but I can’t live my life worrying about that. I am a compassionate, loving person who does A LOT for everyone and saying no to what I don’t really want to do is empowering and also necessary so I do not deplete my own power.
It has put me in another life-lesson phase of….. Can I stand in that empowerment and not feel guilty?? hmmm….. it’s a process! Love this video, love your questions, love you!
Super-hero power….. hmmmm, to be an empowerment-battery-charger to myself and all others…. Stand near me and feel empowered!! <3
    Namaste!

Ok my love my super power is to feel the peace that I am in every moment even if the circumstances appear at the moment to be otherwise. Knowing that every moment is truly a yes because it is and that is the perfection.. that it is always perfect…ahhhh peace
