Wednesday Walk ~ Something I’ve Never Done Before

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I share about something I have never done before … I am taking a mini-sabbatical from my work/business and life-as-I-know-it. OMG! The truth is, I have been working my asana off the past few months ~ well, actually I have been working hard the past 17 years, since I started Next Generation Yoga. While I have no regrets and I fully & completely LOVE my life and career, I realize that I need a break and that I need to remove myself from my current life in order to rest, renew, recharge and vision what I want for my future self.

So, on November 29th, I am heading to Hawaii for 6-weeks where I will do something I have never done before … I’ll be unplugging from electronics, social media, my work and immersing deep with nature and the aloha spirit. I am so excited for what this break and new perspective will bring me and I can hardly wait to share it with you when I return in 2015! Check out this week’s video blog as I share with you more about the power of doing something we’ve never done before.

I would love to hear from you. What is something that you know you want to, or need to, do that you have never done before? Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!

PS ~ in case you were curious, my AMAZING assistants, Teresa & Mary, will be holding down the NGY fort. I am beyond grateful to have these ladies & all of you in my life so that I can do what I need to do & come back ready to rock life with you!

let go…that’s what I want and need to do. letting go also includes taking time for me. I truly believe that you have to take care of yourself in order to help others, but I don’t seem to let myself practice that. hope that you find much aloha and expansion on Hawaii and Kauai. the islands offer so much!
