Wednesday Walk ~ Practice Radical Self-Care

On today’s ‘Wednesday Walk’, I discuss radical self-care! Here in the United States, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, which is the start of the holiday season … a time that can be busy and stressful. If you have been following my journey, then you know that I am about to embark on a 6-week mini-sabbatical in Hawaii. I feel so grateful and blessed to have this opportunity, and my wish for you is that you will also take time during the holidays for yourself.

Check out this week’s video blog as I share specific self-care activities that you can do so that you can join me in practicing radical self-care!

I would love to hear from you. What are some of the things you are going to be doing for self-care so that you can step into the new year as your best and highest self? Please leave a comment on the blog as we can all learn from you!

I am so HAPPY for you Jodi!! I am there with you in spirit!! Don’t forget to PLAY PLAY PLAY!! Dance and sing and laugh a LOT. Run and do cartwheels on the beach because it feels awesome (not because it’s good exercise). At this moment 6 weeks feels like a long time, I’m sure, but trust me it is short. Staying in the moment is the key to making it last. I love you! I hope many people are inspired by this idea and try it for themselves. Namaste!

Kudos to you for manifesting this in your life!! What a remarkable place to spend the holidays and reflect. You mention the social aspect of this time of year and the importance of taking alone time, but my life is quite the opposite. This season I prioritize time with loved ones that often get pushed behind life’s responsibilities the other 11 months of the year. Nothing is more nurturing to my soul than laughing with my best friend, watching my nieces interact with each other, and feeling my mothers warm touch. In contrast to what you might expect with the cold weather this time of year, I make an effort to spend time outdoors. I love camping (glamping actually!) in the winter! It makes for the most stunning scenery and really makes me appreciate the roof over my head, the food in my fridge and my time on this Earth. Blessings and namaste Jodi!
