Wednesday Wisdom ~ Out of the Head … Into the Heart

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On today’s ‘Wednesday Wisdom’ I share about living life in the heart space. This past weekend I visited my beloved teacher, Marsha Wenig and her husband, Don, who are the founders of the renowned company, YogaKids. Unfortunately, a few years ago, Marsha was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers and it has left her with confusion, fear and angst … understandably, all which take place in the head-space. Don’s mantra and powerful offering for them during this experience is truly beautiful. It is: “Out of the head and into the heart.” When we can courageously abandon the mind and live in the heart, we can truly experience peace, love, compassion, joy and self-acceptance. Based on this, the wisdom I share with you today simply lies in surrendering everyday and every challenge to living in our hearts.

Check out this week’s video blog to learn why being in your heart instead of your head is the best medicine for your daily life.

I would love to hear your wisdom! What shows up for you when you live out of your head and in your heart? Do you find more peace and relaxation in your life?

Please leave a comment on the blog so we can all learn from you!

All love,
jodi

    Jodi,
Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am a YogaKids Teacher and have had the honor of meeting Marsha. I am so thankful for her. This mantra and show of love from Don is so inspiring. I believe we can use this mantra in so many areas of our lives. I know I will use this during times of stress and fear. Namaste.

So glad you visited these wonderful people. Chuck, my husband, was diagnosed 10 years ago and is in the final stages. Chuck’s motto is “It’s all love” which we repeat constantly. I look forward to sharing “Out of the head into the heart with him.”
    Love to all.
